About HARE Forest School

Holistic. Accessible. Regenerative. Education
HARE Forest School nurtures the well-being of families in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, through holistic experiential learning and regenerating community. We achieve this by creative engagement with nature, forest crafts and mindfulness. We offer a package of intergenerational sessions based on connection to the natural environment using Forest School principals, yoga, mindfulness, traditional crafts and building community.

We are based in the woodland at the Scouts Beaver Lodge in Parkend, Lydney.

We currently run the following weekly in Parkend:
- Forest Play 0-5 - an outdoor parent and toddler style group - 9:30am Mondays during term time
- Forest School for Home Educating Children 8-12 yrs - 12:15pm Mondays during term time
- After School Forest Workshops 8-11 yrs - 3:30pm Mondays during term time

We run weekly Forest School sessions and gardening clubs in local schools.
