Between 13 and 20 May 2026, hundreds of other charities, communities and faith groups will be coming together to celebrate the everyday acts of kindness, care and connection that take place every day.
Taking part in A Million Acts of Hope doesn’t have to be loads of work or about putting on new events (unless you want to!) Getting involved in A Million Acts of Hope is an opportunity to:
- Shine a light on, and celebrate, the work you are already doing
- Connect to a wider national moment celebrating the hope found in local communities
- Reach new people in your community, and build new local partnerships
- Be part of a visible, positive story about your community
- Help highlight to funders, partners and supporters the great work you’re already doing.
Your organisation can get involved in three ways:
- By listing small volunteering activities on Go Volunteer Glos under the tag "Act of Hope". These will be linked on our dedicated event page.
- By tagging us and the official campaign tag @1mActsOfHope in your social media posts. We'll then collate acts from across organisations on our dedicated event page.
- Signing the UK's biggest ever thank you card to the people who choose hope (and hard work) over hate
