Dad Matters Gloucestershire helps fathers navigate the early years of parenting. We provide peer support, mental health guidance, and community groups to help dads build strong bonds with their children and feel confident accessing local family services.
What We Do
- Bonding & Attachment: Helping dads build strong, lasting relationships with their babies and young children.
- Mental Health Support: Offering confidential, non-judgmental guidance through the stress, anxiety, or challenges of fatherhood.
- Access to Services: Helping dads confidently navigate maternity care, health visiting, and family hubs traditionally aimed at mothers.
- Peer Support: Connecting dads with others through 1-to-1 chats, community walk-and-talk sessions, and workshops.
