Pub Quiz Volunteer

We are looking for friendly volunteers to run a pub quiz and raise funds. We have quizzes at the Barn Owl in Quedgeley at 6pm on the last Sunday of the month, the Old Crown Inn in Uley at 7pm on the fourth Wednesday of the month, and the Fromebridge Mill on the third Tuesday of the month. Or tell us if you know somewhere that would make a great quiz venue.

What you’ll be doing 

There are two volunteer roles for each quiz.

• Host the quiz reading the questions and answers, and announcing the winners, keeping everyone engaged and entertained.
• Welcome and sign up participating teams, sell raffle tickets and answer any queries.

What you’ll need

•  Confident and comfortable talking to an audience, with an engaging manner and clear voice
• A master on the mic, able to keep everyone entertained
• A friendly welcome
• Well organised and experience in cash handling would be useful
