We are looking for friendly, empathic volunteers to run our pet food bank in Stroud.Detailed description
Costs for pet insurance, food, and vet bills have soared over recent years, and everyday we receive calls from people desperate to rehome their animals due to not being able to afford their care. To try and help keep animals in their homes with their own people, we set up a pet food bank to provide people with dog or cat food.
You don’t need a wide range of experience and skills, a friendly manner, being a good listener, and a desire to help people and their pets are far more important. We will provide training and all you need to run the food bank.
When you can help: Our food bank is at Starbucks in Stroud town centre from 10am on the third Thursday of the month, and usually runs until 1pm.
