Role Summary
The After Party and Socials Manager is responsible for organising and coordinating after-party and social activities for Pride in Gloucestershire events. This role ensures that these activities are engaging, well-planned, and align with the overall event objectives, providing memorable experiences for attendees.
Duties
- - Plan and manage after-party and social events, ensuring alignment with Pride in Gloucestershire’s mission.
- - Collaborate with the Head of Production to integrate after-party activities into overall event plans.
- - Source and manage venues, suppliers, and entertainers for after-party events.
- - Oversee logistics, including schedules, setup, and operations for social events.
- - Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions between main events and after-parties.
- - Promote after-party and social activities through appropriate communication channels.
- - Monitor event feedback to assess the success of after-party activities and suggest improvements.
- - Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and organisational guidelines.
Qualities Needed
- - Strong commitment to the organisation, with excellent judgement and integrity.
- - Proven experience in event planning or social activity coordination.
- - Excellent organisational and project management skills to manage multiple activities.
- - Strong communication skills to liaise with venues, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- - Creative and resourceful, with the ability to develop engaging social experiences.
- - Flexible and adaptable, able to work effectively under pressure during events.
General Requirements
- - Be available for approximately 8-10 hours per week, with additional time during events.
- - Be able to use Microsoft Teams and email communication effectively.
- - Act independently of any other interests and declare any conflict of interests.
- - Not have any convictions for fraud or dishonesty, never to have been made bankrupt, or disqualified from acting as a company director or charity trustee.
