Community Social Media Support (Part-time / Flexible)

This role would suit anyone who enjoys social media and community engagement, whether you’re looking to gain experience, build confidence, develop a portfolio, or simply use your skills to support a good cause.

You’ll help by creating simple social media posts and, just as importantly, by actively engaging with other local organisations — liking, commenting on and sharing relevant content to help raise awareness of our work. This helps us reach clients who may need our support, as well as people who may be interested in volunteering.

People For You is a befriending charity. We support people who are socially isolated by matching them with volunteers who visit once a week in their own homes to offer companionship. We also run an arts and crafts group in Tetbury, providing a welcoming social space where people can meet others and feel part of their community.

The role is light-touch, flexible, and can be done remotely. You’ll be supported with ideas and guidance if needed, and we have a Canva Pro account with templates available if helpful. There’s freedom to shape the role while keeping it simple and manageable.

Your contribution will help ensure people who need support can find us, help volunteers discover opportunities to get involved, and play a real part in reducing loneliness locally.
