Parkinson's UK is looking for a volunteer to lead and run the small & friendly Tewkesbury Parkinson's Group, one morning per month.
Parkinson's UK local groups offer friendship, support, and numerous activities for people affected by Parkinson's.
We are looking for a volunteer to lead and run the Tewkesbury Parkinson's Group as the current leader is stepping down.
The group is small and friendly and meets on the first Thursday morning of each month at the Wheatpieces Community Centre.
Each month you would ensure the room is set up, refreshments are ready and welcome the group members. Between meetings you will find speakers and activities to do at the monthly meeting. The group also has a Christmas Lunch.
As the group is supported by Parkinson's UK Cheltenham Branch there is always help and support as needed alongside Parkinson's UK staff. You can be part of the Cheltenham Branch committee if you wish to get more involved.
