Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and digitally-savvy Social Media Content Creator to join our team under the guidance of our Social Media Manager. Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Develop engaging visual and written content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Create platform-specific content that aligns with each channel's unique audience and format requirements
• Design graphics, edit photos, and produce short-form videos using various tools and apps
• Write compelling captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action that drive engagement
• Assist in planning and executing content calendars and campaign strategies

Platform Management Support

• Help maintain consistent posting schedules across all platforms
• Monitor trending topics, hashtags, and music industry conversations relevant to our mission
• Assist with community engagement by responding to comments and messages
• Support live content creation during events and gigs
• Collaborate on cross-platform campaigns and initiatives

Brand Consistency

• Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice, values, and mental health mission
• Maintain visual consistency across platforms while adapting to platform-specific requirements
• Support the development and implementation of content guidelines and best practices
• Help create content that authentically represents our work with the music community

Analytics and Optimization

• Assist in tracking content performance and engagement metrics
• Help identify successful content types and formats for future campaigns
• Support A/B testing of different content approaches and messaging
• Contribute to monthly reporting and strategy refinement based on data insights

Required Skills and Experience

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) including latest features and trends
• Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
• Basic video editing skills for short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikTok videos)
• Understanding of platform-specific best practices and optimal posting strategies
• Familiarity with scheduling tools and social media management platforms
