We are looking for a great communicator who can write in a style that is accessible to all clear and concise to write our newsletter and share other information

Detailed description

Branches are run entirely by volunteers with advice and support from the national charity.


What you will be doing

  • Organising, writing, and sending the branch newsletter.
  • Making sure the newsletter is clearly written and accessible.
  • Collecting information about news, events, and activities.
  • Liaising with the Branch Chair, and committee, to make sure all relevant information is included.
  • Meeting edit and publication deadlines, which are set by the branch.
  • Following NAS branding guidelines.

Our branches and groups run a huge range of activities, from coffee mornings for parents and soft play for children, to larger parties and fundraising events. The aim of the branch’s newsletter is to advertise the group and its activities. We need a volunteer to keep up to date with branch activities and local information, write the copy, and send out the newsletter to our branch members. Without this role, the branch members wouldn’t be aware of all the amazing things the branch is doing.


This role can fit around your responsibilities, and you can decide when you would like to volunteer. There is flexibility on the amount of the time you give too. We know our volunteers have busy lives and we d
