Role Overview:

As a Corporate Fundraising Trustee, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our corporate fundraising strategy. You will collaborate closely with the board of trustees to secure vital financial support from corporate partners, ensuring our continued growth and ability to make a positive impact on our community.

 

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of the organization's corporate fundraising strategy in alignment with its mission and goals.

Identify and cultivate relationships with potential corporate partners and sponsors, fostering long-term partnerships.

Attend regular board meetings to provide insights, updates, and recommendations on corporate fundraising initiatives.

Collaborate with the Scheme Director to create compelling proposals and presentations for corporate prospects.

Help organize and participate in networking events, corporate engagement activities, and fundraising campaigns.

Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and opportunities in corporate fundraising.

 

Qualifications:

Passion for the charity’s mission and a genuine interest in making a positive impact.

Proven experience in corporate fundraising, business development, or relevant fields.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with corporate partners and stakeholders.

Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and contribute valuable insights.

Well-connected within the corporate sector, with the ability to leverage your network for fundraising purposes.

Strategic thinking and the ability to identify innovative approaches to engage corporate partners.

Time Commitment:

The role of Corporate Fundraising Trustee is a voluntary position. You will be expected to attend board meetings, typically held every quarter, and contribute additional time as needed for networking events, strategy discussions, and fundraising campaigns.
