Summary
We need volunteers to help us assess the quality of our hospitals, covering food, cleanliness, privacy, and support for patients with dementia or disabilities.Detailed description
Our Patient Assessors will form part of our Patient-Led Assessment of the Care Environment (PLACE) inspection team, visiting a local NHS hospital within Gloucestershire to inspect and assess the quality of the non-clinical environment. This means considering food quality, cleanliness, privacy, dignity and wellbeing, condition, appearance and maintenance and how well the organisation supports patients with dementia and disabilities.
Volunteers provide a valuable perspective from the point of view of our patients and as such are a crucial part of every inspection.
Training will be provided and we will cover any travel expenses incurred.
