Summary

Are you Ex-Armed Forces/ veteran we are aiming to start up Carers cafes for veterans who are Carers.

Detailed description

Gloucestershire Carers hub are aiming to set up and Armed Forces and Veteran Carers cafe in different localities throughout Gloucestershire. We know that getting together over a brew having a good chat with lots of banter with other Armed Forces and Veteran Carers can help with health and wellbeing. The ideal volunteer will have a good experience/understanding of working in/with the Armed Forces and veteran community. (However we would love to hear from any volunteer who can help as we have lots of different Carers Cafes) We are looking for Volunteers who can be there at the meets to great members, welcome new members, keep a record of who comes and feedback to the volunteer coordinator which Carers attended and any support that the Gloucestershire Carers Hub can give them. The volunteer coordinator will be there to support you all the way. We provide training, DSB checks and also lots of opportunities for you to attend CPD courses.
