About Glos Arch (Gloucestershire Archaeology)

GlosArch (Gloucestershire Archaeology - formerly GADARG) was formed in Gloucester in 1967 and has some 130 members who are interested in the archaeology and history of the area. The Group hopes to encourage members to develop their interests through its lecture programme, annual journal, visits to sites and co-operative fieldwork. Close links are maintained with the Gloucestershire County Council’s Archaeology Service, Gloucester City’s Archaeologist and Gloucestershire Archives.
