Join our team of hosts/waiting staff and help us serve a free, three-course meal for anyone who needs it in Gloucester.

At Community Kitchen, we're not just about feeding hungry people, it's about our Gloucester City Centre community. We don't just cook and serve food, we create a calm, welcoming environment where we serve a totally free three course meal to anyone who needs it.

Join our team of hosting volunteers! You'll welcome guests, serve food, chat with them and help find solutions to difficulties they have. You don't need to have any experience and you will get any training and support you need.

We want to create the best volunteer experience for our team so there is no ongoing commitment - you book onto the shifts you want to volunteer for online. Some of us volunteer every week, some people only a few times a year - it's up to you.

When you volunteer with Community Kitchen, you join a completely volunteer-led charity - we have no paid staff - so when we say it's your community kitchen, we really mean it.

Got a spare Monday evening? Why not give us a try - there's no ongoing commitment.

About Community Kitchen Glos

Community Kitchen Glos is a volunteer-led charity committed to addressing food poverty in our city. Every Monday in the heart of the city centre, we cook and serve a free, three-course meal, providing a warm space, company and support for anyone who needs it.

We believe in the transformative power of a shared meal and the strength of a community united. Together, we are not just addressing food poverty; we are building a resilient, compassionate, and connected city.
