About Cheltenham Samaritans

Samaritans' mission is to reduce the number of people who die by suicide. We aim to achieve this by providing emotional support to anyone who is in distress. Our listening volunteers support callers on the phone, via email and online chat. We also work in partnership with other local organisations to provide outreach services. There are over a hundred volunteers at Cheltenham Branch, with a wide range of different backgrounds and life experiences and we welcome new volunteers at any time.
