Become a Green Party Leafleting Volunteer and help deliver our monthly local newsletters. It's a key role for our local campaigns, flexible times and dates.

Detailed description

We deliver leaflets every month to various wards in Cheltenham. A Leafleting Volunteer does not have to be a member of the Green Party, but sharing our values and wanting to help us gain more representation in local government is key.

Each volunteer will be provided maps and training, but the delivery can be made at any time of day, or day of the week, to fit around your schedule. Each leaflet round takes around 2 hours per person, thought it can be split over several shorter sessions. We ask that a round is completed within a week or two of issue.

Our Leafleting Coordinator will manage the process with you. This role will:

Help engage people in local democracy
Give you exposure to grassroots campaigning
"On the ground" experience for anyone looking to get into politics or charity/campaigning organisations
