The Green Party is recruiting volunteers for our 2024 Election Team here in Cheltenham! By joining our campaign teams you will be helping elect more Green councillors who care about climate, social justice and a thriving town that works for everyone. We will have campaigns running all over Cheltenham, so the chances are there is a campaign near you that you can volunteer with.
During the election from March to May 2024 we will have campaigning activities running every weekend. We will also have tasks that you can do in your own time, such as helping drop a leaflet in a key target, or helping a candidate as they door knock voters. Full training will be provided for all activities by experienced Green Party volunteers.
Election Volunteers don't have to be a members of the Green Party, but sharing our values and wanting to help us gain more representation in local government is key!
Your primary POC will be the Elections Coordinators for the area you are best able to help in. This role will:
- Give you experience of grassroots political campaigning
- "On the ground" experience for anyone looking to get into politics or charity/campaigning organisations
- Help change the political map in Cheltenham to bring about greener politics!
