Volunteer Role Information.
HWCRC need consistent volunteers Fridays for full 10:30am – 1:30pm shifts weekly.
Friday shift 10:30am – 1:30pm – Craft Club volunteer
Volunteer responsibilities / duties
The Friday Crafty Club is a busy group hosted at HWCRC, with up to 20 participants at one time. We do a variety of arts and crafts projects, from painting, drawing, sculpture, decoupage and fabric crafts, often creating a project from start to finish for our participants to take home. It is a very social class, with a calm atmosphere and welcoming faces.
- Volunteer will need to assist group facilitator with prepping materials before the class, and laying out materials for participants.
- Being kind and courteous with group members.
- Assisting with group members arts and crafts, where necessary.
- Help facilitator clean up materials, and tabletops after the group.
- Opportunities to host an art session in future.
Once we have received your message of interest, you will be directly emailed a volunteer application form to complete and return. Once your application for has been returned, we will arrange to call you to discuss the application further.
