Summary

Drivers needed to help transport children and young adults with additional needs, in our minibus on trips out and afternoon return trips to Milestone school.

Detailed description

We need a pool of drivers on an adhoc basis to take our attendees to external activities. Staff will always be in attendance for these trips.

·       For return trips to Milestone School,  

2.30pm – 4.00pm Mon – Thurs (term time only)

·       For excursions by Young Adults, to external activities

·       For excursions in school holidays for children and families

If you are willing and able to drive a minibus and have time to be called upon when needed, please contact us.


We can let you know in advance of any trips we are planning. We would be happy to have someone on an adhoc basis or a regular weekly slot, depending on your availability.

We understand that children and young people who have special needs and disabilities face an incredible amount of challenges during their lives – we also understand that their families may face many challenges as well, whether that be coming to terms with the child’s condition, needing specialist help for the first time, or just needing someone to talk to who really understands.

Our services provide opportunities for children and young people and their families to access a tailored programme of activities aimed at improving and enriching quality of life for them all.
