About The Opportunity
The Door Shop is always on the look out for volunteers to help out in Store.
From preparing stock and pricing to till work and merchandising there is always something to do.
It's a great way to give something back to your local community and build your confidence - all ages (14 years +) and abilities welcome. We also do Work Experience / DofE Placements
What we are looking for
Friendly people willing to put in a bit of hard work for a morning or afternoon on a weekly or monthly basis
Practical Bits
Full training given
Sadly due to the nature of our building this opportunity is not suited to those using large mobility aids or wheel chairs as the 'behind the scenes' areas are rather small and there is no ramp access to toilet facilities.
To apply, please click 'Join' and you will be asked a short question. We will then be in touch to discuss the next steps with you.

About The Door Youth Project
The Door's mission is to bring hope into the lives of young people and their families, through unlocking potential and opening opportunity so their past does not define their future. Motivated by the Christian values of hope, forgiveness and prayer The Door delivers its services at the heart of local communities, seeking to engage stakeholders from the bottom up. We have in-depth knowledge of the local area and its people, we tackle the root causes leading to enduring results and are prepared to deal with complex issues that other agencies shy away from. The Door travels with people for the long term – walking alongside them, carrying the burden and never giving up.
