Summary

Join our friendly team of volunteers and staff in our Hayward Coffee Shop.

Detailed description

The role is flexible so you can work around your other commitments.


  • Tasks may include (but are not limited to), serving customers, taking orders, washing up, clearing tables etc.
  • Interacting with a varied public


Also:

  • Learn about our collection which spans 1500 years, 60 countries/cultures and over 600 artists/makers.
  • Unlimited access to our temporary exhibitions.
  • Work in a friendly environment and team.
  • 10% discount in museum shop and free/discounted refreshments from the coffee shop.
  • Invite to regular volunteer meetups and trips.
  • Free ticket to a Wallsworth Evening (talk/lecture) of your choice each year.


Some volunteers help quite regularly, others much less frequently, but all their contributions make a big difference.

Getting there

Nature in Art is on the main A38 between Gloucester and Tewkesbury. Look out for the brown signs at our entrance. We recommend that all visitors use this main entrance when visiting. SatNav users should use our entrance postcode – GL2 9PG. The Number 71 takes approximately 10 minutes from Gloucester. (Go to Orchard Park bus stop).
