Summary

We are looking for a volunteer with good organisational skills and who is confident using a computer to answer the branch inbox, signpost local autistic people

Detailed description

This group offers support and information to autistic adults and their families.

The group needs someone to provide admin support to the volunteers within their group. Our branches and groups provide invaluable support to autistic people and their families in their local area and this role will help facilitate that.


What you will be doing

  • Sending out information to group members about activities (by post or by email), or making sure another committee member has all of the information required so that they can do this.
  • Sending and responding to group emails.
  • Preparing and sending out letters / information packs / emails, etc.
  • Other administration tasks that may arise within the group.


When and Where

  • Roughly 2 to 3 hours a week
  • Home based (plus travel to group meetings where appropriate)
