Scan me or visit www.govolunteerglos.org/o/Green-Abbey/opportunities/November-path-restoration-event/87770 to join

We will be restoring a path to stop it getting muddy on wet days. We will add bark chippings to soak up the water.

If you would like to join us, you will need to bring thick gloves. If you have a spade or trug, they would be useful.

About Green Abbey

Green Abbey: green spaces in Abbeydale and Abbeymead and the surrounding area. We are a network of people living in Abbeymead, Abbeydale, Barnwood and Coney Hill, who are interested in growing in appreciation for the fabulous green spaces that are dotted through our residential area. Events are one of two things: sometimes a work party such as the pruning of the Clocktower Park apple trees, and sometimes a community event, such as the annual Big Butterfly Count. We have strong links with Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and with the council green spaces team and are connected with the urban wildlife project, also with the friends of Barnwood Arboretum and Saintbridge Pond. We hope to grow in neighbourliness as we meet both the people and the creatures that share our home.
