The Trust is looking for a volunteer to help develop, implement and manage a communication strategy to improve awareness of the Trust and its work.
As a wholly volunteer-led organisation, the Trust's ability to conserve Gloucestershire's orchards is wholly dependent our on ability to attract volunteers. To that end, we are looking for a volunteer with communications / marketing expertise to develop, implement and manage a strategy to improve the way we communicate with the wider world:

- PR
This represents an opportunity to shape the way the Trust is presented to the outside world.

The Gloucestershire Orchard Trust is Gloucestershire's orchard charity, dedicated to the conservation and celebration of traditional orchards in Gloucestershire. Traditional orchards are a valuable resource and have unique ecological, cultural, genetic, heritage and landscape value that we need to look after. However, changes in agriculture and in the way supermarkets buy and source fruit have meant that about 75% of Gloucestershire’s orchards have been lost in the past 50 years and what was once a familiar part of the landscape is now increasingly rare.
