The Gloucestershire Orchard Trust is Gloucestershire's orchard charity, dedicated to the conservation and celebration of traditional orchards in Gloucestershire. Traditional orchards are a valuable resource and have unique ecological, cultural, genetic, heritage and landscape value that we need to look after. However, changes in agriculture and in the way supermarkets buy and source fruit have meant that about 75% of Gloucestershire’s orchards have been lost in the past 50 years and what was once a familiar part of the landscape is now increasingly rare.Recently added opportunities
