Buddy Up Volunteer – Befriend & Support Carers

A little conversation can change someone’s day.

We are looking for compassionate volunteers to become Buddy Up Volunteers, offering friendly social contact to Carers who may feel lonely or isolated. Support can be offered by text, phone, video call, or face‑to‑face — whatever suits you and the Carer best.

What you’ll do

  • Provide a friendly ear and regular check‑ins
  • Offer emotional support and social contact
  • Help Carers feel seen, understood, and less alone
  • Build a positive connection that suits both your schedules
