Summary

Armed Forces and Veteran community (AFV) Champion, to support Gloucestershire with our AFV Carers and Carer awareness flexible role

Detailed description

🌟 Thank you for your interest in volunteering to support the Gloucestershire Carers Hub in all things Armed Forces and veteran community champion! 🌟

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Carers within the Armed Forces and veteran community. Here are some of the ways you can get involved:

🏢 Attending Armed Forces and Veteran Carers Café: Join us in providing a welcoming and supportive environment for Carers to connect, share experiences, and access the services they need.

📍 Visiting Different Locations: Help us raise awareness about our services by visiting various locations where Armed Forces and veterans gather. This could include community centers, local organisations, or events.

🎉 Attending Events: Represent the Gloucestershire Carers Hub at events such as breakfast clubs, Armed Forces day stands, and other community gatherings. Your presence will help us engage with Carers from the AFV community and promote our support services.

🤝 By volunteering in these capacities, you will play a vital role in ensuring that Carers within the Armed Forces and veteran community receive the support and recognition they deserve. Did you know a veteran is nearly twice as likely to be a Carer compared to a civilian.

👉 If you're ready to make a difference and support our Carers, please send us a message on here, we will message you back, get your email and send you a volunteer application form. We can't wait to have you on board! 🙌

If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. 💬📧

🌻 Thank you for your commitment to supporting our Armed Forces and veteran Carers. Your dedication is truly appreciated! 🇬🇧❤️
