You will directly support individuals in a community setting, helping break down digital barriers & ensure everyone has the skills to navigate the digital world
We are looking for an individual with good technical and people skills, who can give 3 hours each Tuesday to join a group of volunteers assist a community drop-in for digital skills development. The drop-in session is well established within the community and people attend for help with issues on their mobile phones, tablet devices and laptops. Our volunteers work with people to educate them about their device, whilst fixing the problem, building a sustainable and tech savvy community.
Key Activities:
• Co-facilitate a hyper local digital support group delivered by GRCC.
• Provide individual digital support in a community setting.
You will need to be willing to obtain a Safeguarding level 2 qualification which will be organised costs covered.
This post is for adults aged 18+
• Help to foster a safe and encouraging learning environment
