Role Overview We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to support our community growing space. This role involves helping to maintain the space
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting crops
- Help maintain garden areas, tools, and shared spaces
- Support composting and environmentally sustainable practices
- Work alongside other volunteers and community members
- Help set up and tidy away at the start and end of each session
- Contribute to a friendly, inclusive, and safe environment
- (Optional) Support community events, workshops, or open days
Skills & Qualities
- Interest in gardening, food growing, or the environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and reliability
- Basic physical fitness (some lifting, bending, and digging involved)
- No experience required—training will be provided
