We are looking for a corporate volunteer group to help us create a new wildflower garden as part of a team volunteering day. This is a practical, hands-on outdo
Impact & mission
Join us to complete the Old Prison Community Garden and leave a lasting legacy for the local community. This project supports biodiversity, provides a beautiful green space for residents and visitors, and helps pollinators thrive. Your team’s efforts will make a visible difference and demonstrate your company’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
What volunteers will do
Working together, your team will prepare the garden by digging over soil by hand, removing weeds, and sowing wildflower seeds. Tasks are suitable for all abilities, clearly explained, and designed to encourage collaboration and teamwork. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own spades and gardening gloves where possible.
What volunteers will gain
This is a rewarding outdoor activity that strengthens team bonds, supports wellbeing, and gives your group the satisfaction of completing a high-impact, tangible project. Your contribution will help finish the Old Prison Community Garden for the community to enjoy for years to come.
