We are looking for more Trustees, especially those who can take on specific roles. We will have a vacancy for Secretary and Commercial Manager later this year.
Initially joining as a Trustee to get to know us and our activity, you will then understudy the current incumbent to ensure an ordely handover in a mutually agreed timeframe. The Secretary role is not onerous, taking only a few hours per week mainly responding to emails. In addition minutes of quarterly meetings and the AGM are included but again not onerous. A close working relationship with the Chairman and Treasurer will ensure the smooth running of the CWA.
The Commercial Manager will organise and expand the online shop, work with the volunteer who services the shop orders and oversea the various sales outlets dotted along the Cotswold Way. The work involved will amount to one day per week and is flexible. This role generates significant income for the CWA and the incumbent is therefore a key member of the team.
