Our meeting location is near Gloucester Airport and is on certain Tuesday evenings To express an interest and find out more, please ask Kate.
We prepare using structured training, to volunteer with medically accurate responses to all kinds of trauma and ill health scenarios with sfx makeup for realism and creating the whole person for maximum believability.
No previous experience is necessary but those with relevant skills and background will be especially useful to the branch.
The age range is from 12 to however old you feel. Youth members under 18 are required to have a parent, guardian or other responsible adult with them, so why not make it a family activity.
It is creative, interesting, fun, sociable and above all has a sense of worth for helping those in emergency care to be ready for whatever situations they may face.
Our clients include fire services, paramedics, doctors, hospital emergency and trauma medicine, Search and Rescue, Air Ambulance charities and combined emergency services.
