Come and meet members, find out what we do, have a go at some injury makeup and see how to react. Please wear old clothes in case of fake blood drops.

Our next Workshop will be held at Badgeworth Village Hall. Training for us to be ‘realistic life like’ casualties helps the emergency services gain more insight and experience in situations which can more effectively mimic the real thing. It is infinitely better than a dummy.

There are regular road traffic incidents and fires for training recruits, and also the infrequent but truly devastating incidents. The detailed investigations highlight improvements which lead to new ways of working, especially across combined emergency services.

The large scale exercises are all about preparedness for something which could be a once in a lifetime emergency for the service personnel.  It always  gives us a deep sense of doing something really rewarding and may influence the saving of  lives.

Being ‘real’ for doctors and paramedics takes knowledge and preparation. Come and join us. No previous experience is needed.
