Football Buddies is kicking off in Gloucestershire! We're looking for fans of live sport to help people with learning disabilities attend football games.
We train and connect volunteers to create one on one friendships based around a shared love of football - whether that's watching a local team live or catching a world cup game on the big screen.
In partnership with Gloucester City FC and Forest Green Rovers we're offering volunteers and their buddies tickets to home fixtures throughout the season.
Our volunteers may be required to help their buddies plan trips and assist with travel to the ground, before enjoying the atmosphere and the action together!

Building Circles supports adults with learning disabilities in Gloucestershire to form and maintain meaningful friendships. Our Social Buddies, Gig Buddies and Football Buddies programmes connect adults with learning disabilities to local volunteers. Our Buddies then go out into the community to do things they enjoy - together. Our volunteers also support our other groups, such as our Allotment Groups and Art Group. We aim to enable adults with learning disabilities to live a more meaningful life, and volunteers are at the heart of what we do. In exchange for your volunteering time, we offer training and ongoing support, as well as reimbursement of expenses and opportunities to join our team at a range of social events.
