Summary

Start by attending the Master Composter workshop on 27th February. Then you will be equipped to promote composting in your community

Detailed description

This role is about encouraging people to start composting their garden or food waste at home. In return for c 30hours of your time over a year (ie only 2.5hrs a month), you will get FREE Garden Organic membership plus training and great resources to help you get started. You will be part of a fun team of Master Composters who support each other and get together for fun socials and trips. Your volunteering could include helping your neighbours to start composting or supporting a school gardening club with composting, giving talks or demonstrations or creating displays in libraries or at local events.
