Stroud Against Racism is looking for a new social media manager, this would involve updating and monitoring our social media accounts.
This role would involve checking in with the team and put together anti-racist marketing material and posting them on our social media. It would also involve managing our social media channels as our current social media team have been amazing, but are ready to step down. We currently only have Facebook, Instagram, Blue Sky and the Fediverse. But if it's something you enjoy and have enough time, we would be open to you using other media channels, such as Tik Tok, W (when it's set up) or whatever else you think is important. But we currently have about 4k members on Facebook.
You would need to use your own equipment as we have very limited funding and no central equipment.
The role is about trying to promote the activities of local anti-racist CIC Stroud Against Racism and other local anti-racist organisations. You might have graphic design skills that you want to practice, you might want to get together a team who could help you to pull materials together. We are looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm and motivation with a real understanding of what anti-racism and either being a person from our diverse communities entails or is a true ally.
We look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
