📌 About Us:
Breathe Youth is a Christian registered charity work with young people aged 7-18 years of age living in the Forest of Dean through:
- A mentoring programme to support young people who are facing challenges. Our aim is to help improve their mental wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem as well as prevent them from becoming at risk of exclusion from education or becoming involved in criminal activity and making poor lifestyle choices.
- Two youth clubs for primary and secondary age children providing a safe space for them to meet friends and have fun. We aim to support their physical, social, emotional and spiritual development.
- Inter-church activities – providing opportunities for church young people to meet, have fun and encourage them in their faith.
🧭Role of a Trustee:
As a trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of our charity, ensuring good governance, and supporting our mission. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute your expertise and help us grow sustainably.

About Breathe Youth
Breathe Youth provide a free Mentoring Programme to support young people facing challenges in their lives. We offer the opportunity for a young person to build a trusted relationship with one of our volunteer mentors. This service is delivered in the Forest of Dean area and is typically provided over a period of 12 months with the young person and mentor meeting for approximately 1-2 hours each week.
