Supporting people to use digital devices and services. We run monthly drop-in sessions at community spaces across the District. We don't just need techies!Detailed description
Our Digital Champions are peer volunteers who help participants access online services and support those who struggle to access and use digital tools.
- Could you help people fill out an online form?
- Could you help someone reply to an email?
- Could you help someone chat in WhatsApp?
- Could you help people feel safe and secure online?
We can train and support you to work with people to help build their confidence in using digital technology in their everyday lives. We organise monthly drop-ins at over 10 locations across Stroud District.
You don't need to be a techie, just reasonable okay with technology and have an ability to explain patiently.
