About 1st Gotherington Scouts
We're 1st Gotherington Scouts, bringing Scouting to Gotherington and the villages around us. We're a small community, so young people know each other, and parents and volunteers all chip in.
From Squirrels to Scouts, every week is games, the outdoors, new skills and proper friendship:
- Squirrels (4 to 6): learning through play, games and making friends
- Beavers (6 to 8): games, activities and challenges to build confidence
- Cubs (8 to 10½): camping, creativity and adventures
- Scouts (10½ to 14): bigger challenges, practical skills and making a difference
We meet each week at Gotherington Village Hall.
A place to belong, for you too
Everyone's welcome, and everyone brings something special. You don't need to know how to light a fire or read a map. We can teach you that. Just bring a smile and a willingness to give it a go, and we'll fit around you.
