Summary

Do you enjoy presenting and talking to groups of people? Perhaps you are a retired teacher, or trainer who are looking for a way to 'give something back'.

Detailed description

Cobalt are seeking new ambassadors who are willing to share information about the work of the charity to local community groups and other interested parties.  Talks can vary in length from 15 minutes to 45 minutes. Full training and support is provided. Applicants need to have their own transport.

Cobalt’s mission is to pioneer innovation in medical imaging diagnosis by investing in equipment, research and education, to improve outcomes for patients now and in the future. Last year, we saw over 130,000 patients. Each year we need to raise close to £1 million through fundraising, events and donations to support the work of the Charity.

For further information on the role please contact Kirsty Bradbury, Supporter Engagement Officer or Julia Jenkins, Head of Fundraising at Cobalt.

About Cobalt

Cobalt is a Cheltenham based medical charity. Our vision is to pioneer innovation in medical imaging diagnosis by investing in equipment, integrated research and education, to improve outcomes for patients now and in the future. Volunteers help Cobalt in many different ways, for example at open gardens, by recycling cards, swapping collecting tins around the county and in our busy fundraising office.
