Welcome, direct and help answer queries from our visitors; use a computer to log information; make refreshments and set up rooms for groups.
Being a Reception Welcoming Volunteer is the beating heart of The Keepers Community Hub. You may be the first person that some of our visitors have spoken to that day. No previous reception experience required just a willingness to be flexible in your role. A basic knowledge of IT is required for inputting information. You should like to meet new people, be able to answer any questions or queries and be generally smart, cheerful and helpful. In this role, you will be make a real difference to your local community. Shifts are typically 2 hours long, can be flexible to suit your availability or you can book a slot each week or fortnightly if you would prefer. Full training will be provided. You will need to read, understand and follow our policies and procedures and the role requires an enhanced DBS check.
