The Cheltenham Trust is seeking new Trustees to help shape our future as we launch an ambitious new 5 year strategy focused on wellbeing & reducing inequality
Are you passionate about culture, heritage and leisure, and the role they play in helping communities thrive? The Cheltenham Trust is seeking new Trustees to help shape our future as we launch an ambitious new five‑year strategy focused on wellbeing, reducing inequality and strengthening belonging.
We care for some of Cheltenham’s most loved venues, including Cheltenham Town Hall, Pittville Pump Room, The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum, Leisure at Cheltenham and the Prince of Wales Stadium. Through events, activities and partnerships, we aim to create welcoming, inclusive spaces that reflect and engage our diverse communities.
We’re committed to building a Board that reflects the people we serve. We particularly welcome applications from individuals with lived experience relevant to our mission and from those currently underrepresented in arts, heritage and charity governance. No previous trustee experience is required - full induction and support will be provided.
We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in Arts & Culture or Finance, who want to make a positive difference locally.
This is a voluntary role, with a commitment of around six Board meetings per year, plus occasional sub‑committee meetings and events. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
If you’re interested in helping shape Cheltenham’s cultural future, we’d love to hear from you.
