Summer Show Volunteer

Our Summer Show is our biggest fundraising event of the year. All profits from the event go towards caring for our cat and dogs, so every penny you help raise makes a difference. 

Can you spare some time over the August bank holiday weekend to help out at the event? It's always a fun packed, busy day and you go home with a warm feeling of having helped animals in need.

What you’ll be doing

• Directing car parking or welcoming people to the event
• Hosting a stall like a tombola, raffle, pet shop or kid's games
• Serving tasty treats on our refreshments or BBQ stalls
• Wandering around the event making sure everyone is safe and happy, or helping to cover breaks

What you’ll need

• A passion for Teckels and animals, and the enthusiasm to share this with others
• Friendly and engaging, comfortable talking to a range of people
• Willing to get stuck in and help out, with a good level of fitness
