About Starfest
Starfest is a new micro music festival created to raise money for local charities, and provide the opportunity for those struggling in the cost of living crisis to experience an affordable music festival. The event is ran entirely by volunteers, from the kind support of local businesses, and bands looking for exposure. All profits from the event go to charity. This year's charities are National Star and Newent Cricket Club. The event, in addition to showcasing music also has to offer a host of free children's activities including but not limited to face painting, arts and crafts, bouncy castle, treasure hunt and meet princesses.
This year's festival is being held from 30th August - 1st September 2024, and we are seeking volunteers to help steward and photograph the festival.
