Detailed description
Hi there. Thank you for reading our post. We’re looking for someone to join our committee. All Air Cadet Squadrons are supported by a civilian committee comprising a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer plus other committee members. We are looking for a treasurer to manage a small account of primarily subscriptions and payments for activities as well as general support to the Chair. The role does not need a high level of accounting experience (and can be all spreadsheet based). We meet approximately 10 meetings per year and support other events on a needs basis / personal availability. Applicants will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service application and a security application. We’d love to hear from you.

The uniformed cadets organisations are fully supported by the Government, and the Royal Air Force Air Cadets are supported by the RAF.
Cadet life is all about challenge, excitement and adventure. Cadets have many opportunities including UK and overseas camps, leadership courses, air experience flights and pilot training. The focus is always on enjoying themselves while improving their skills.
