Pride in Gloucestershire is back in Gloucester Park, Gloucester on Saturday 10th September from 11.30am to 7.30pm.Detailed description
With the Main Stage and Cabaret Stages leading the line up in terms of Performance and the Speakers Corner returning with a full programme of insightful talks, discussions and debates - because our fight to end discrimination is central to what we are about we have placed Speakers' Corner at the heart of the the venue.
We also strive to ensure the whole community is included. 2022 sees the return of the Family Zone, the expansion of the Trans Area and the K&F Zone. In addition we are introducing a Youth Area and looking to bring back the Multi Faith Tent.
Accessibility is also very important. A lottery grant specifically for accessibility and inclusion is allowing us to ensure our main stage has a ramp; bring a Mobiloo to the event, expanding the Sensory space for the Neurodiverse, increasing the BSL Interpreter provision and improve the quality and accessibility of information.
Then to complement the programme activities we have Danters Funfair, 2 bars, a selection of high quality food and drink and a whole array of tradestands and community stalls!
Our March also take place through the centre of Gloucester City assembling at Gloucester Cathedral for around 10.30am (Exact times TBC in August).
About Pride in Gloucestershire
We hold an annual Pride event and Parade in Gloucester City where we invite our community and our allies to join us in celebration and reflection and a number of others events throughout the county.
