Marketing & Publicity Volunteer - Cirencester

Parkinson’s UK local groups provide friendship, support and activities to people affected by Parkinson's in the local area. But, only once people have found out about the group! As a Marketing and Publicity volunteer, you'll help build the profile of the friendly Cirencester and Stroud Branch, which is a core part of the local Parkinson's community. With an interest in media, marketing and publicity and strong IT/digital skills, you will communicate with the local community, connecting people to the support they need to live well with Parkinson's.

Put your marketing, communications and digital skills to use, letting your creativity flow as you set up & manage social media pages to promote the group, and help keep the group website up-to-date.

This fun and flexible role can be done from home, and you'll be supported by other Parkinson's UK staff and volunteers. Expenses & training are offered as needed with the role.

We'll ask you to complete an online form on the Parkinson's UK website & there is a short comprehensive online induction process, so no previous experience of Parkinson's is needed.
