About Noxon Farm

Noxon Farm, located in the Forest of Dean near Lydney, Gloucestershire, is a historic farm that now serves as a versatile small business with camping, fishing, and workshops. The farm features a picturesque 5-acre pond and is surrounded by beautiful woodland. Thanks to a generous grant from the Woodland Trust, we are planning for a large tree planting project of 3000 trees and we need your help to make it happen. You will be part of building a new agroforestry system and learn about principles of agroforestry. Starting 25th January 2025- 9th February 2025, we’ll be planting trees at Noxon Farm for a two week period. Tasks involved in the day (9am-4.30pm light depending) · Digging holes and planting · Tree guarding · Tying trees to stakes · Mulching with woodchip Lunch provided and accommodation in the farmhouse subject to availability.
