Summary
We are looking for car drivers to volunteer their time to take residents of the Forest of Dean to medical appointments within the Forest and beyond!Detailed description
The vital service allows people within your local community to attend their medical appointments. The role allows you to be flexible in your availability and help others local to you.
What you'll be doing:
- Collecting the passenger from home
- You could be taking them to hospital settings within the County or beyond
- You will help them find the right the department and give them comfort that someone will be waiting to take them home once their appointment ends.
We will help with DBS checks, which are required for this role, go through the volunteers handbook so you understand the position, and also let you meet with other volunteers so they can help you get settled.
