Due to the growth & success of our counselling service, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Longfield for a Volunteer Counsellor (Qualified).Detailed description
At Longfield, we are passionate and fully committed, providing one-to-one, face-to-face, telephone and online counselling to adults who are living with a life limiting illness, including their families, carers and loved ones. In addition to this we also offer counselling to those who are bereaved as a result of death through natural causes.
As a volunteer counsellor, you will support a minimum of three clients per week, whilst working collaboratively to develop and deliver the counselling and bereavement services we offer here at Longfield.
Longfield offers funding for monthly supervision, line management support, training and development specific to your role and the opportunity to work in a supportive and caring environment.
